Our school has developed close links with our local church St Pauls Novi Lane, Leek. The children plan and deliver services at our church, including – Harvest Festival, Remembrance, Christmas, Easter and during the Leaver’s Service in July. The vicar is Reverend Matt who is a regular visitor at our school and delivers visitor worships on a regular basis.
One of my joys as a vicar is being involved in the local school and it’s life. As the vicar of St Luke’s and St Paul’s I spend some of my time as a part of the school community leading worship and as a governor. It always impresses me whenever I visit that the school has such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The children are keen to learn, but also engage well when thinking and talking about God.
Living next door to the school allows me to be close by, but I also get to hear the children play during the day. St Paul’s enjoys it’s links with the school and we welcome both the children and parents into the building for special services at Christmas, Easter and Harvest.

Our School has also developed links with Trinity Church (Methodist URC) and our children visit for Hope Journey Events (Christmas and Easter). A representative from the Methodist circuit, Abigail Ratcliffe (Children and Family Worker) helps support our school through Christian Art Clubs and by leading services. Abigail also delivers Godly Play sessions to our children from our youngest to our oldest.

Our school also works in close partnership with the Lichfield Diocesan Board of Education to continue to grow, evolve and improve as an academy. Our Christian Distinctiveness Advisor is Vickie Longson.
We are passionate about Growing Faith within our school and local community (including its churches). We know that our children are the adults of the future and by doing this, we are instilling a sense of belonging and the message that community spirit has the church at its heart.
